EDUCATION and TRAINING

Dr. Du obtained her bachelor's degree from Harvard University and her medical degree from Harvard Medical School. She went on to complete four years of residency at the Columbia University Psychiatry Training Program. In addition to residency, she also completed the Psychoanalytic Fellowship at the Columbia University Center for Psychoanalytic Training and Research as well as the Fellowship in Adult Psychodynamic Psychotherapy at the Center for Psychoanalytic Studies in Houston. She is skilled in psychoanalytic thinking and therapeutic approach.

CLINICAL and TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Dr. Du has been in private practice since 2016 seeing patients for medication management and psychotherapy. She also served as the Medical Director of the Intensive Outpatient Program at Ben Taub Hospital, attending psychiatrist in the community and refugee clinics of the Harris Health system, faculty supervisor in the Baylor Psychiatry Residents' Clinic, expert consultant for the J. Flowers Health Institute (concierge diagnostic and treatment center), Psychotherapy Training Director for the Baylor Psychiatry Residency Program, and the Psychiatry Clerkship Director for Baylor Medical School.
